Watermelon Lemon Ginger
4 cups chopped watermelon
½” ginger root
Peel and cut the watermelon into small chunks (remove the seeds).
Peel and cut the ginger root into small pieces.
Cut lemon into quarters, remove seeds and squeeze for juice (approximately 4 tablespoons)
Add all ingredients to a blender and mix well.
Watermelon is a very good source of vitamin C, beta-carotene and lycopene. These powerful antioxidants travel through the body neutralizing free radicals. Watermelon is also a good source of vitamins B1 and B6, pantothenic acid, biotin, magnesium, potassium and dietary fiber.
